I installed this just one day ago. The only pre install thing to do was to make sure the jumper is set for my particular model, the 6 digit number of which is found on a sticker on the old board. I took good pics of the old board before removing all the connections and removing it. Plugged in the connectors to the N991 board, put it in place, it fits just like the old board. Connections are in the same place too.Turned on the power and turned on the fridge and it came on in 'auto' mode like it should. Only thing different is it does not display any lights on the fridge itself other than the 'auto' light being on. With the old board it also showed the mode it was operating in, usually AC, or gas if not connected to the grid. Not a big deal to me, the freezer is quite cold one day later, everything is frozen, as it should be, and nothing frozen in the lower (fridge) compartment, and shows 41 degrees currently. So, the board is a direct replacement for my model of Norcold, model number 9184 (board #618574). It fits exactly as the old board did, screw mounting holes line up great, and the only difference is you will not see the mode LEDs light up when in auto mode. The problem with the original board was it would hit an error and all the LEDs on the door would flash, this would happen every 2 minutes to 2 hours to 5 days. No rhyme or reason for it. I'd shut it off for half an hour, turn it on, and it would usually work again for a time. Worked best on gas mode, but still would show errors after a time.If this new board works for more than 10 days without a problem I won't be editing this review. If I have problems, well, I'll have to edit this.I hope I don't have to edit this review!
