Did doors bc they are heavy and rather hit a bumper then metal on anything else. No tape inside. Pre-glued perhaps? Re-did doors after 5 days. Removed and re-applied no problem. No residue. This is an awesome product trim edge guard is so worth it no more dingsThis trim worked great for a week or two, but now I notice them falling off all the time. Not to mention that the glue is stuck to my car door. Do nut buy! Wish I could get a refund but I threw out the packaging.Gives luxurious images to my car.I’ll recommend. They were Norman, as advertised. I pack fits 1 carThese were easy to cut and install. Maybe it's from the sun/weather elements constantly beating down on them, but these started to slip/come off a bit (see pic - when I first put them on, they were flush with the black window trim), and it leaves a black residue on the car (which would likely come off with a cleaning) - I just put them back in place when I notice the slippage. The aside from that, they do to a good job of protecting the doors as intended, and they do look good. The fact of this product is yes it may be a good door trim, but I have actually purchased it because it also does a really good job of getting rid of the Lightbar whistle... now it has sort of had some trouble staying on the cooling fins, but that's just pushing it back on or using some sort of glue or other means of adhesion.good product though overall, It hasn't faded in the direct sunlight for almost a year and a half now and looks pretty good. Overall it's actually a solid product in terms of material used. This car door edge trim was very easy to apply and cut to size. I was able to put it around all 4 doors of my 2013 Toyota Corolla with a few inches to spare using 1 package of 18ft. (*Note: the item title is wrong - this item is 18ft long, NOT 18in long.) You do not need any extra glue/adhesive to apply this trim, as it fits nice and tight along the edge of the car door. I've had this trim on my doors now for about 2 weeks and there are no signs of the trim slipping or moving out of its original applied location. One bit of advice for applying -- I live in Pennsylvania and left the package of trim in my garage for 2 days before I applied it to my car without really thinking about what the freezing temps would do to the pliability of the trim (temps were < 30 degrees for those 2 days). I was still able to apply the trim but found it to be more stiff than I originally expected. After I realized that the temp would have obviously affected the pliability, I got curious and put the leftover few inches that I had in the microwave for about 8-10 seconds and the trim was MUCH more pliable. Wish I would've thought about it before applying, but it honestly was still easy to apply despite being freezing (took me less than 10min total to apply to all 4 doors).Great product -- protects from any accidental car door over-swings into oh, say... your significant other's car in the garage! :) Highly recommend!Worked for trimming some motorbike plastics perfectly. Sticks and stays around even aggressive corners. The trick I found was to use a heat gun very carefully for the tight turns.Far to stiff to install, it even chipped off some paint. Use a heat gun to make install easier. Adhesive is decent, the small gap between the strip has enough force to keep it on the door.Just what I needed to finish off the tail end of my cafe racer build. Not as advertised.....acutally 18 foot long rather than 18 inches, but that is what I was hoping for.Edges of my cars trunk, doors, gas cover,.
